This time, the modern, futuristic approach we saw in the spring 2013 couture collection was replaced by a glamorous return to the thirties. Scott stated that the fact that she regularly shopped at Banana Republic while growing up was an important factor in her decision: “Banana Republic is somewhere I used to shop and something I grew up with. In a team that size, you have somebody for every component for the making of a garment. The sheer speed that they can achieve is mesmerizing.”

This time the diva is tackling a more sophisticated allure with the new scent and teamed up with Coty Inc to make it happen. After the success of her Purr-fume and Meow fragrance, which showed a youthful side of her, the star is ready for something a little more complex. The name of Killer Queen fragrance is inspired by Freddy Mercury's classic song.

But the name isn't solely chosen on a whim. It turns out, song influenced her tremendously: “Killer Queen has been in my vocabulary since I was 15, because of the song ‘Killer Queen’ by Queen. Freddie Mercury painted the lyrics of this woman who I wanted to be. She seemed very powerful, and she captivated a room when she walked in. I named my company Killer Queen after those lyrics. I feel like, after all this time, it was appropriate to use that name in association with something I did. I feel like I’m falling, finally, into that woman Freddie painted,” she told WWD.

How did this attitude reflect in the new Killer Queen perfume? The singer explained: “Killer Queen is powerful, edgy, sophisticated — and that’s exactly where I’m trying to be now with my music. Here were two different aspects in creating the fragrance. It’s almost like [using] two different parts of your brain — the packaging and bottle and marketing, but essentially all that doesn't matter unless you have the juice.” The Killer Queen fragrance, set to be launched this August features top notes of wild berry, dark plum and bergamot. Floral notes red velvet flower, natural jasmine sambac and rainbow plumeria reveal the heart of the new scent, while base notes of cashmeran, patchouli and liquid praline complete the complex bouquet.

The bottle, inspired by queen's scepter definitely is a great choice for the ad campaign which will be defined by the “Own the throne” tagline. The Katy Perry Killer Queen fragrance will come in four versions: 0.5 oz. for $20, 1 oz. for $39.99, 1.7 oz. for $49.99 and 3.4 oz. For $59.99. This time, she headed to Rome for the sultry set of images that make up the new Fendi fall 2013 campaign lensed by designer Karl Lagerfeld himself.

Given the fact that the two also collaborated for the Melissa + Karl Lagerfeld shoes campaign, choosing Cara as brand ambassador was a pretty smart move. Back then, she praised the shoes and stated: "The shoes are amazing, and they smell so good. In one of the photos, I'm drinking champagne out of them, so I got to know them pretty well.” With such an enthusiastic response, the new role is hardly a surprise.

The stunning new ads bring a myriad of drool-worthy pieces that instantly mesmerize. The latest Fendi ad campaign for fall/winter 2013 shows off a myriad of covetable pieces: sexy dresses, luxurious fur coats, fab accessories like classy chain strap bags, sexy ankle booties or vibrant toned totes. The brilliantly simple styling done by Charlotte Stockdale and the cool high ponytail styled by Sam McKnight brought the new looks close to perfection.
