The Badgley Mischka pre-fall 2014 collection is defined by glamour. Though glamour has always been one of the guiding principles of the label, the pre-fall season options are a little bit different as the designers focused even more intensely on the concept. The experience of the past years revealed that this is the time the label's fans do their shopping making the pre-fall season a prime time for elegant, formal purchases. As a result, the label pampers us with many interesting options.
Badgley Mischka's pre-fall 2014 collection is inspired by the couple's honeymoon in Rome. The Italian city's museums and the baroque style accents they spotted while celebrating their union after 28 years spent together have had a great influence on the new designs. The line brought both simple and sophisticated options which are sure to steal the spotlight at any given time. All the options put into the spotlight had a strong feminine allure. The label brought lace details, stunning floral prints, subtle ruffles and gorgeous metallic accents into the spotlight.
Sheath dresses, short A-line dresses and mermaid style gowns dominate the new Badgley Mischka pre-fall 2014 collection. Though the details on the dresses were certainly elaborate, the dresses themselves were simple yet sophisticated, being a great choice for any woman who is looking for an elegant gown that flatters her figure, without being overly tight. It's definitely interesting to see how the designer duo managed to incorporate Gothic influences in the new line shape-wise. The golden accents and the cape-like effect given by the stunning large sleeves are definitely some of the options that managed to stand out in the new line.
