Michelle Williams is back for the second Louis Vuitton campaign. This time, the star is promoting the luxury label's handbags in the new campaign lensed by skilled photographer Peter Lindbergh and styled by Carine Roitfeld. Though this is the talented actress' first major fashion role, she manages to embody the label's spirit in each of the new ads which revolve around three key handbag styles: the Capucines, the Alma and a new version of the Lockit.
According to the label, "Michelle Williams is the essence of the stylish, self-confident Parisienne," in the new Louis Vuitton spring 2014 handbag campaign. Indeed, with her lovely tousled pixie hairstyle styled by Sam McKnight, her bright makeup created by Stéphane Marais and her absolutely flawless skin and lovely simple outfits, she definitely manages to embody many of the characteristics of some of the most beautiful French style icons.
The Lockit handbag was originally created in 1958 and rediscovered in 2006. The style is now made from lightly grained veau cachemire calfskin which gives it a softer silhouette and has a padlock on the inside, a unique feature that inspired the handbag's name. The handbag will come in a variety of lovely pastel shades and will hit stores in July.
