Katy Perry has prepared a new version of her Killer Queen fragrance: the Killer Queen Oh So Sheer scent, which is meant to be a suitable choice for the spring season ahead. The singer wasted no time and let her fans know about her latest limited edition scent on her fragrance Facebook page on February 3rd, writing: Ready to say goodbye to winter? Killer Queen Oh So Sheer has a light floral scent that will have you thinking spring is already here. This Limited Edition fragrance is now available in select countries.''
The new Killer Queen Oh So Sheer perfume was also developed by perfumer Laurent Le Guernec, who also developed the original concoction. As one might guess, the new scent is a lighter version of the original perfume, though as expected, the two share several common notes.
The Killer Queen Oh So Sheer fragrance is a floral fruity blend. It opens up with fruity notes of wild berries, black currant and plum, a heart of frangipani, celosia, jasmine and freesia, and base notes of Kashmir wood, liquid praline, caramel and patchouli. The packaging has remained mostly the same with the difference that new limited edition scent comes in a lavender-toned bottle instead of the original ruby red tone, to evoke the lighter mood spring days are typically associated with. Could she have been inspired by this year's hottest tone, radiant orchid? With her keen sense of style, that idea isn't that far-fetched.
