Cameron Diaz is preparing to unveil her new shoe line for Pour la Victoire. The actress became the label's creative director last summer and has devoted her time and energy to helping the brand become better ever since. Helping the label gain a more unified identity was the star's main goal: “When I first came to PLV, I saw the potential in it because it was a brand that didn’t really have its own identity. It was a little bit all over the place. I looked at it as an opportunity to help create that,” WWD.com reported.
The first Cameron Diaz Pour La Victoire shoe line is based on simplicity. The actress wanted to forgo details that would prove too distracting, adopting a rather minimalist approach instead, explaining that she wanted to “let go of the over-detailed shoes, the ones with too many bells-and-whistles. We brought it down to something clean.”
The focus on minimalism also seems to have extended to the color palette in the new Cameron Diaz for PLV shoe line. The actress opted mostly for monochrome designs in versatile tones which provide multiple mixing and matching possibilities. The desired allure for the new creations is intended to be feminine with a bit of an edge.
