Sarah Jessica Parker has just unveiled her shoe collection! A while back, we've told you that Sarah Jessica Parker is getting her very own fashion line and now we finally have the chance to see the results of the actress' hard work. There were a couple of sneak-peeks here and there, but only now, when the official launch date approaches, we have the chance to see the new designs up close. The line, which was done in collaboration with George Malkemus, CEO of Manolo Blahnik, features a multitude of colorful feminine styles which remind of her iconic character's style: Carrie Bradshaw.
Speaking about the things that inspired the new SJP shoes, the actress stated that: "I've taken inspiration from things in my life such as the grosgrain ribbons I tied in my hair as a girl, to the flower accents from 'The Sex and the City' wardrobe, to references to classic styles from the late Seventies and early Eighties. I'm a firm believer in quality and timelessness and have created this collection with the hopes that women will love wearing it for years to come."
The new SJP shoe line by Sarah Jessica Parker features a multitude of high heel sandals and chic pumps, but also includes more comfort-focus styles like espadrille wedges or flats like suede flip flops. The most obvious 'The Sex and The City' reference comes in the form of a pair of black pointy pumps that was named after the iconic character that made her famous; so the Carrie pump ($355) is definitely a style that will steal the spotlight among fans of the series. The 47 Italy-made shoes included in the collection will have prices ranging between $195 and $500. The line will arrive at Nordstrom and Nordstrom.com right before the first official day of spring, starting with February 28.
