For the Miu Miu spring 2014 campaign, captured by photography duo Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin, renowned designer Miuccia Prada turned to the world of Hollywood in order to find the girls that would properly represent her vision for the new season and it seems like emerging stars Elle Fanning, Bella Heathcote, '12 Years a Slave' actress Lupita Nyong’o and Elizabeth Olsen were the right picks: "The actresses' poses, full of personality, convey their diverse points of view, effortlessly translating the new spirit of the Miu Miu woman," the brand stated.
Indeed, each of the girls puts their personal spin on the label's quirky yet bold pieces, which is why they're being pictured separately, not as a group. Elle Fanning, who along with her sister Dakota have been huge Miu Miu supporters over the years, has chosen a simple ladylike ensemble with a playful twist. Lupita Nyong’o went for a more festive and eclectic vibe, rocking a bedazzled bustier accessorized with a choker necklace, a pleated navy skirt, pink stockings and crystal embellished pumps.
The Miu Miu spring 2014 campaign is the first fashion deal the young star has landed and it's definitely a perk she's grateful for: "Being considered a fashion star is wonderful. It's definitely a bonus thing. It was in no way my agenda when I started," she told USA Today. With such a powerful jumpstart, it's safe to say we'll be seeing more of her in the upcoming months.
