Lily Aldridge fronts the new XOXO spring 2014 campaign. The VS model returned for another stunning campaign which makes us wish spring was around the corner. The label seems to have focused extensively on dresses for the warm months of 2014, bringing many interesting styles worth taking into account. The model was the first one to summarize the best characteristics of the new line stating: “I love the color block dresses! They fit amazingly, while looking sexy and elegant. XOXO makes fashion-forward clothes that are affordable.”
A single glimpse at the new ads makes us realize that cropped tops are even a bigger hit than we realized. Sure, the spring 2014 runways have been filled with sporty looks where cropped tops were a natural fit, however, the fact that they're being incorporated even in more elegant ensembles takes their popularity to an entirely new level. Interestingly enough, the label manages to avoid the cliché of overly revealing ensembles, which is often the case with midriff-baring items and the main reason why many fashionistas refrain from trying the trend. The new options radiate ladylike elegance and can definitely be a great choice for those who have a toned mid-section.
The new ad campaign might be focused around just a few looks, but it definitely brings interesting options for different style personalities, which is definitely a plus since it enables us to view the spring 2014 trends through different lenses. Even so, the styling choices are surprisingly consistent throughout the new ads. It seems that, as far as footwear goes, minimalistic sandals are still a favorite among designers. Given their amazing versatility, it's quite easy to understand why these styles have become a crowd favorite.
