The Gucci pre-fall 2014 collection is one of the most vibrant lines we've seen so far. If for many retailers the pre-fall season is all about subdued tones being a visible transition towards the cold season, for Frida Giannini things go in the complete opposite direction as the designer challenges the norms with an attention grabbing array of ensembles which are sure to become memorable. It seems that once again, masculine accents prevail in the upcoming season, if we are to judge by the options spotted in the new line. The label brings vibrant toggle coats, chic fur jackets, minimalist oversized coats and even sportswear elements into the spotlight for a strong style statement.
Though we normally think of essentials as being subtle, versatile pieces which can serve as the base for many stunning looks, the luxury label's latest options actually represent the "Gucci essentials", presumably a part of the brand's sleek, modern style signature. For the most part, the label chose stunning monochrome outfits, but it didn't ignore patterns completely. Despite the fact only a handful of printed pieces were spotted, it seems to confirm another suspicion we had, that abstract and geometric motifs will still prove quite a popular choice in the second half of 2014.
Even the feminine looks included in the new 2014 Gucci line have an edgy allure: minimalist dresses have chain details or have leather accents for a more modern flair. Moreover, the deerskin cap that completed many of the looks included in the new Gucci pre-fall 2014 collection, adds an interesting trendy vibe to the new looks. However, this isn't the only interesting option spotted when it comes to accessories.
