The Yves Saint Laurent Flower Crush spring 2014 collection makes us think about flower blossoms just as we are trying to get accustomed with winter's low temperatures. Though most of us tend to associate flowers with vulnerability and delicacy, that's not quite what the luxury label envisions for its new line.
In fact, it's quite the opposite as the new line was created with the image of a modern femme fatale in mind as opposed to a delicate, innocent woman: “She is emancipated, ultra-modern femme fatale. She combines the essence of all the flowers and bring them to the expression in the delicate gradation of their shades. An arm full of roses, peonies, crocuses, hyacinths and irises highlights the beauty of her eyes, her skin and her nails.” Indeed, the products from YSL spring 2014 makeup collection fulfill a multitude of needs. Here are the options that will soon hit the makeup counters:
YSL Flower Crush Collector Eye Palette ($58)
The limited edition Pivoine eye color palette features five gorgeous, versatile tones: a light gold tone perfect as a base color, vibrant pink, rose pink, light coral and deep brown.
