MFW Spring 2014 Trends: Bold Color-blocking at Prada
Miuccia Prada has never been afraid of eclectic, bold alternatives, but even so, the spring 2014 collection was definitely surprising. Citing “political wall art from Mexican muralists such as Diego Rivera” as inspiration, the designer made a statement of her own with the new line - women as fighters: “It’s about a debate about women; it’s a political discourse: ‘I’m allowed to do whatever I want to do with clothes.’ If they see you, they listen.”
