Vans and Kenzo teamed up again and recently released a fall 2013 sneakers line. This is the fifth time when the two labels join forces. Unlike many collaborations which lose their novelty and thus become less interesting after a while, in the case of the two retailers the opposite is true as each new line seems better than the last.
With Kenzo's eclectic prints and Vans' popular styles, the recipe for success is almost ensured. For the Vans x Kenzo fall 2013 sneakers line, the inspiration was celestial. Now, given the luxury label's eclectic nature, common motifs like stars would be far too obvious. Instead, the luxury French label chose flying tigers, lightning and clouds for the new line. The result? Quirky, eye-catching sneakers that are sure to become an instant focal point for any casual outfit. Taking a break from killer high heels shouldn't mean giving up style and these cute kicks definitely prove it.
This time, the three classic Vans sneaker styles that receive a cool makeover for the new season are Authentic, Chukka and Slip-On. Though we've seen plenty of variations of the Authentic and Slip-On styles, this is the first time the Chukka gets a designer treatment. The cool thing about the new line is that it has options for everyone. Whether you love statement footwear or you appreciate prints but like subtle alternatives, the new Vans x Kenzo shoe line can meet these needs fairly easily.
