A Lorde x MAC Cosmetics limited edition makeup collection will hit the counters this summer. The exciting news was shared by the “Royals” singer herself via Twitter yesterday. She announced that the new line will come out on June 5th and it seems like the brand has decided to pamper fans with not one, but two cool star inspired lines for summer – Kelly Osbourne's MAC makeup line is also scheduled to hit stores this June.

According to The Cut, the 17 year old star frequently collaborates with MAC senior artist Amber Dreadon for her looks, so the partnership will be quite interesting. Speaking about the new and exciting project she embarked on, the star mentioned that her love for the brand started early on and she made surprisingly insightful comments regarding the brand's aesthetic approach.

“I have loved MAC Cosmetics since I was a little kid. I remember saving up to buy my very first MAC lipstick [Snob] at 14, and it was used by about 20 of my friends! MAC has a very clear aesthetic, that has always felt fashion forward to me. So I was really excited to work with them on these products, which I use pretty much every day and night. I hope you will too,” she stated.
