The first Miranda Kerr for H&M spring 2014 campaign has finally surfaced! As you might know, the Swedish high-street retailer announced a while back that Miranda Kerr is the brand's new face and even released a few teaser images, however, it's only now that we get to take a clearer look at the new campaign. The Aussie stunner tackles a laid back, model off-duty vibe in the new campaign which, according to the brand, is focused on “a real California-cool style, focusing on the beauty of spring in an urban setting”.
The 2014 Miranda Kerr for H&M campaign brings a cool mix of feminine and masculine ensembles into the spotlight. On the one hand, the label brings into the spotlight tailored black blazers, faux leather shorts and chic pieces with sporty vibes like a monochrome tee shirt and grey pants. On the other hand, the masculine vibe of the looks is offset by several feminine details such as floral prints and pieces like ruffled tops and off shoulder blouses in flirty pink tones, dressy form fitting skirts and chic strappy sandals.
Interestingly, although the color palette is very well defined and the campaign only brings a handful of outfits into the spotlight, the options are incredibly versatile and varied. Though we're always impressed by the brand's ability to come up with cool on-trend pieces we didn't know we needed but that instantly hit our must-have list, the new options inherent practicality is perhaps our second favorite choice about the new ads, the first one being, of course, the brand's new and charismatic ambassador.
