The new Christian Louboutin spring 2014 campaign is a great visual representation of the 'fashion is art' idea. The luxury label is no stranger to inspirations from the magnificent world of art as the brand's fall 2011 lookbook was based on the same concept, however, the new ads lensed by photographer Peter Lippmann are even more memorable than the first.
The Christian Louboutin spring/summer 2014 ads are inspired by impressionist paintings, particularly the paintings of Claude Monet, Henri Fantin-Latour and Vincent Van Gogh, for an exquisite display of modern and classic elements. The options displayed in the new campaign seem to draw inspiration from the label's heritage.
The label introduces the 'The Apostrophe' slingback pump and the Bat pump, both updated for the new season. Another interesting alternative spotted in the new campaign is the “Sweet Charity” cross body bag made out of soft leather that comes in lovely pastel tones for a romantic allure, and studs for a more edgy vibe.
