As the NYFW fall 2014 edition progresses, the list of interesting elements and creations that will come to define the upcoming months gradually becomes longer. Though each line has a distinct set of elements that makes them stand out, it seems like the focus on balancing feminine and masculine accents, functionality and minimalism has been a top concern for many of the creative masterminds that have unveiled their most interesting options for the fall/winter 2014-2015 season so far. Here's how these concepts were reflected in these labels' collections:
NYFW 2014: Monique Lhuillier Fall 2014 RTW Collection
The Monique Lhuillier fall 2014 collection was dark and mysterious, but utterly elegant as the designer got us used to. Though the label has focused more on daywear than she usually does, that was not the most surprising aspect of the new line, but the fact that she infused a lot more edginess into the new season creations, thanks to intricate skull motifs.
